How are you keeping everyone safe during the pandemic?
Glad you asked! Your health & safety, and that of our team’s, are our top priority. BASH is committed to strictly adhering to all Local, State, & Federal guidelines re: COVID-19 and will continue to monitor all directives from these governing bodies & the CDC. To help prevent the spread of germs, we have reduced the capacity of our in-studio classes to ensure the proper amount of distance between participants. Plus, we’ve eliminated the sharing of stations & equipment – so your bag and your bench will solely be yours throughout the entire class! We’ve even pre-set equipment for you at your station to avoid additional movement. Next, we’ve increased the amount of time in between classes to allow for proper disinfection of the studio, equipment, common areas, & amenities. All entrants to the studio are required to wear a face covering while in common areas, as well as throughout the studio - unless actively exercising, & upon arrival all entrants will receive a contactless temperature check. If a fever is detected, admittance will be refused. We offer contactless check-in through our BASH app & have restricted the use of certain amenities to prevent the spread of germs. In addition to weekly professional deep cleans, our in-house staff disinfects our studios & equipment, lobbies, common areas, & all amenities upon opening, immediately following each class, and upon closing – EVERY DAY! Plus, we've partnered with SurfaceGuard who deploys their EPA-registered & N list approved disinfectant, proven to kill SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, on porous and non-porous surfaces. Also, they apply an antimicrobial coating to all surfaces & equipment inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, algae and fungus for up to 90 days. We've placed social distancing markers throughout our studios to help aid in keeping your space & ask that if you're feeling under the weather in any way - you sit a couple of rounds out and stay home!
What are the benefits of boxing?
Boxing improves overall cardiovascular health, improves your total body composition, and is proven to decrease stress and build self-confidence.
You mentioned that no experience is necessary, but what am I getting into?
At the start of class your BASH Coach will guide you through everything you need to know to be successful during your workout – including the BASH Six Core Punches! Plus, throughout class your BASH Coach will be there to provide you with further instruction & personalized attention to help you maximize your sweat - while keeping you safe! All exercises & combos will be demoed for you and you are free to work at your own pace! There’s no fancy footwork needed, and after a couple of rounds on the bags - the moves will become second nature.
It's my first time - what do I need to do?! What should I bring?!
Welcome! You’re going to love it =]. For your first time, be sure to arrive to the studio AT LEAST 5 minutes before class (we prefer 10!) to ensure all your paperwork is in order and to receive a studio tour from your Coach! During that time, your Coach will give a brief overview of the day’s workout and check in about any injuries you may have. All participants are required to have hand wraps and boxing gloves to take class – so if you have some, bring ‘em! If not, NO WORRIES – we got you! We sell both traditional ($25) & quick hand wraps ($10) and offer boxing glove rentals ($2)! Finally, be sure to bring a credit or debit card as our studios are cashless.
What should I wear?
You’re going to sweat! Wear exercise apparel with athletic shoes. Be sure to wear something you can move around in with ease!
I hear there is music BUMPIN' and lights FLASHIN'! Is this true?!
Yes! Our state-of-the-art audio and lighting systems generate some SERIOUS energy in class, but please let a staff member or your Coach know before class if you have any sensitivity to flashing lights or loud music. As always, you are encouraged to consult a physician before partaking in any activity with BASH Boxing.
What is your class cancellation policy?
We enforce a strict 12-hour class cancellation policy. If you have reserved your spot in a BASH Boxing Class and fail to cancel at least 12 hours prior, you will be charged for and will forfeit that BASH Boxing Class. All late cancel & no-show fees are outlined in your welcome email!
I'm so excited - when should I show up?!
For our first timers – we ask that you arrive to the studio AT LEAST 5 minutes before class (we prefer 10!) to ensure all your paperwork is in order and to receive a studio tour from your Coach! For returning clients, including members, guests, and pack holders, you must be physically present at the start of your scheduled in-person class or your spot may be given to a waitlisted client, and you will be charged a no-show fee =[.
I need a little break - can I freeze my membership?
Yup! We offer 2 freezes per year, for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 90 days. When you freeze your account the fee is $15 per month. For more information, reach out to [email protected]
Do you have an age limit to sign up for a class?
To participate, you must be 13 years old or older. Ages 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and ages 16-17 may participate with parent or guardian signature.
Can I try BASH Boxing if I’m pregnant?
We always recommend that anyone who is pregnant or is trying to get pregnant consult with their doctor before coming to class. If you are pregnant, and it is your first time, please notify a front desk member so we can notify your BASH coach.
My class was great! Do you have group rates for private events or classes?
